FOR CHILDREN
VOCAL VIBES was formed in February 2009 and gave it’s first concert of highlights from Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat.
VOCAL VIBES is about:
having fun singing great music
learning new skills
putting on concerts
taking part in special events
working in a team
making new friends
It is led by a music team including Annabel Johnson, Kate Rigg (a vocal specialist) and Iain Matheson (accompanist).
There are now two groups;
VOCAL VIBES is for primary 3-5 aged children and meets on Wednesdays from 4-5.30pm.
Projects during 2010 included the environmental musical "One Planet Future" by Debbie Campbell, a performance during the open air community launch concert of Leith Festival and "LaLaLa Leith" - a come and sing event which gave everyone a chance to sing songs from popular musicals.
Our most recent projects included the musical shows Peace Child and Ocean Commotion as well as a Christmas carol party.
